Dustcon Solutions is an Engineering & Safety Consulting Firm based out of West Palm Beach, FL. Our focus is on helping clients identify and address Combustible Dust Hazards that pose a risk to assets and personnel. Dustcon was started to meet the need for Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) services within all industry segments. With over 20 years of active involvement on the NFPA Technical Committees responsible for the latest standards pertinent to the dust explosion problem, Dustcon has the knowledge and expertise required to provide DHA services.

  • Recognized authority in the field of dust explosion protection in the process industries
  • Over 46 years of engineering experience and is responsible for activities principally regarding field consulting engineering
  • Principal member of the following NFPA Technical Committees:
    • Fundamentals of Combustible Dusts (NFPA 652)
    • Explosion Protection Systems (NFPA 68 & 69)
    • Handling and Conveying of Dusts, Vapors, and Gases (NFPA 654, 655, & 91)
    • Correlating Committee on Combustible Dusts
  • Senior Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and active member of the National Fire Protection Association
  • Authored several papers on dust explosions and related fires issued in such periodicals as Process Safety Progress, Chemical Processing, Plant Engineering, Powder and Bulk Engineering, and Food Technology
  • Featured speaker at such venues as the AIChE National Meeting, and the Powder & Bulk Solids Conference/Exhibition, and at NFPA National Meetings

  • Certified Associate Safety Professional
  • Active Member in the following organizations:
    • American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)
    • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
    • National Association of Fire Inspectors (NAFI)
    • American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP)
